Group 1: Write and submit an essay on the work after reading a fiction book Group 2: Write and submit an essay on the work after reading a nonfiction book Criteria:
Format: Save your essay (1,000-2,000 words in length) in a MS Word file. The file shall carry the title and author of the book that your essay reviews. NO personal information included. Submission: Send your name, Student ID, title and author of the book your essay reviews, and your essay in the format stated above to libcontest@cpce-polyu.edu.hk. Please note that you can submit more than one essay but each winner is eligible for one prize only. Prizes: Prizes vary from iPad, Apple Watch, Gift Vouchers and more. Result announcement: April 2018 A Judging Panel with the teachers of HKCC and SPEED, and librarian of the CPCE Libraries will decide the winning essays. The Judging Panel may ask the participant to submit the book under review for information, if needed.
